Here are some frequently asked questions about our offbeat wedding videos
We love your work but are afraid that we are too conservative. Do we have to show so much skin?
Absolutely not! Really all that matters is if you like our style of doing things. No matter if you are traditional or wild. Everything we produce has that vibe that drew you to us in the first place. No worries.
How long have you been a wedding videographer?
I (Dustin) have been filming weddings for ten years now and counting. Seeing couples in love never gets old.
How lond does it usually take to get our wedding video back?
While their isn’t a exact time frame but we try to have you your wedding video back no later than two months. We hand make every video and their is no recipe. Some just take longer than others but I promise it is worth the wait!
Why is a wedding video important?
A wedding video let’s you revisit your entire relationship up until that point in time. It has the power to feature the most important people in your life all together at a once in a life time event. It’s something you can share with friends and family that weren’t able to attend, and it is something to share with your future family years down the road.
Who are your ideal clients?
Our ideal clients are fun, creative, and energetic. We like filming with couples that are comfortable with themselves around us and trust us to create great work, to the point we can even interact like old friends. We are always really honored to be invited to film and be a part of such a special moment in your life. If you’re excited to share your story and want to work with some cool, creative people to make it happen–we’re your guys.
What kinds of payments do you accept?
We require 30% deposit to book your date. This deposit is non-refundable. The second 30% is due no later than one day before your wedding. The remaining 40% is due 4 to 6 months after your big day. About the same week you will receive your final wedding film. We accept check or money order and credit/debit cards via Paypal.
Who selects the music for your wedding films?
Generally we do. We are open to your suggestions however. Sound production is just as important to a story as visuals, that’s why we spend time finding music that will add relevance to our wedding films, rather than overwhelm it. We try to retain the offbeat style and feel. Its why people love us 🙂
Is there anything we can do to make sure we get the best wedding video possible?
Absolutely. Some of the best things you can do is limit your locations that you will be down to a minimum. We aren’t as mobile as photographers and require set up and tear down time. Also if you let your photographer know that your wedding video is very important to you they will respect the fact that we need content as well and will share your time with us. Also you can let whoever is marrying you two to let your guests know that you want all cellphone and iPads put away during your ceremony it will help. I could go on and and wrote a blog post about this HERE ,but I want to add one more thing. If you are getting ready in a hotel room and you have 14 bridesmaids and groomsmen, you may want to think about getting them an extra room or downsizing the party. I Promise you want regret it.
We would love to answer anymore questions that you may have. Please feel free to call us anytime if you have any concerns.
